1/ Program Description

    • Overview of the program: Electrical Engineering program provides a wide range of teaching programs in electrical engineering fields such as high-voltage generation, transmission and distribution as well as control and management of low voltage systems. Designing, installing and operating electricity systems in industrial plants, residential areas as well as national power networks are main tasks of an electrical engineer. The students will also learn decision making, problem solving, communication, critical thinking skills through practical projects. In addition, our research and teaching programs are enhanced by the essential contribution of many experts from power companies, industrial factories, and construction companies. The increasingly high electric demands in the Vietnam economy, including industrial and residential properties, offer many job opportunities for graduates of Electrial Engineering.

 

2. Intended Program Outcomes

 

The students who graduate with a major in Electrical Engineering should be able to:
– Design, install and operate electrical systems of industrial plants, residential areas as well as national power networks
– Identify, analyze and resolve failures or abnormal situations of electric machines, production lines, and power systems.
– Do research and apply new technologies to solve technical problems.
– Communicate, collaborate, and lead across the organization to achieve organizational goals effectively and ethically.
