  • Overview of the program: The Automatic Control program provides practical knowledge associated with the production process in industries, where human activities are entirely replaced by operations of machines and robots. Using modern electronic and computer technologies to design and manufacture production lines and automatic equipment in all areas of Vietnam industry is one of the main tasks of our engineers in the Automatic Control Department. The students will also learn decision making, problem solving, communication, critical thinking skills through practical projects. Graduates can work in the following three job categories:


    • Designing engineer in companies specializing in the design of automated systems;
    • Operating and managing engineer of automated production lines in factories; and
    • Managing automation products engineer in automatic equipments trading companies.


2. Intended Program Outcomes

The student who graduates with a major in Automatic Control should be able to:
– Design, manufacture and install automatic systems and production lines in industrial plants
– Identify, analyze and resolve failures or abnormal situations of electric machines, production lines, and automatic systems
– Do research and apply new technology to solve technical problems
– Communicate, collaborate, and lead across the organization to achieve organizational goals effectively and ethically.
