  • Overview of the program: In a rapidly changing economy, new opportunities arise every day for those individuals with specific business administration comprehension and skills. The Business Administration program provides the student with general knowledge and abilities to participate in the ever-growing world of business including accounting, banking, investment, finance, real estate, insurance, corporate management and so on. Students will later in the program declare a major that focuses their studies in a particular area such as finance, marketing, economic or management. The students will gain comprehensive understanding of all aspects of business which allow them to take part in and lead business entities. Successful business people do not know just one aspect of the business – they are familiar with all the major components and activities that make up the business organization and how those work together for organizational success. This program aims to accomplish just that.

 

2. Intended Program Outcomes

 

Students who graduate from this program should be able to:

 

  • Integrate and utilize principles from various business disciplines to develop solutions to business problems.
  • Demonstrate competency in professional written and oral communication.
  • Identify and analyze the influence of global, political, legal and ethical issues on individuals and organizations in the business world.
  • Utilize information technology to enhance personal productivity and the management of information.
  • Develop and demonstrate team-building and collaborative skills to accomplish team’s and organizational objectives.
