In 2015, there were droughts in Ninh Thuan province, floods in Quang Ninh Province, and temperature above 40oC due to climate change in many big cities of Vietnam. This is not the first time that Vietnam faces with many natural disasters because of climate change. Therefore, it is time we should respond to reduce damages caused by the climate change. Besides, people have to immediately find the solution for general environmental issues, climate, ecology, natural resources and encourage the participation from social communities.
In order to solve the above environmental issues, on 13th November 2015, Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety collaborated with Live and Learn Center, and International Institute of Sustainable Development (IISD) launched the contest on “Climate change and our responses”.
There were around 200 students who attended the contest in 12 teams. Besides, another target of the contest was promotion for collecting 5000 signatures for the BUS TO PARIS program. Followings are some pictures of the contest.
